He was an exceptional scientist during the 17th century. His accomplishments are so vast, and so diverse that it is impossible to list them all. H was a genius at experimentation and invention. One of his most famous discoveries was made when using a microscope he designed himself, looked at cork and saw cells. And the list goes on.........

He was a famous scientist that lived in the 1600's. His largest claim to fame was when he discovered he could look at cork under a microscope and see little compartments.
