Is the John Robert Powers school a scam?

The John Robert Powers school, in my opinion, is a scam. They have been sued several times by actors and models with success and event failed to appear in court. There are accussations of using phony talent scouts and high pressure sales tactics on inexperienced actors and models new to the industry.

Yes, it is essentially a scam. They are not selective when people do auditions; people have reported the staff saying they got the highest ratings for performances that were intentionally bad. The JRP School says certain actors went there when they never did, which is something a reputable school in Los Angeles or New York would never do.

John Robert Powers school teaches acting. They do not provide an accredited college or vocational degree. However, you may gain acting skills from that school.
