Molly Ivins (August 30, 1944 – January 31, 2007) was an American journalist based in Texas best known for her controversial wit and feigned bemusement. Ivins opposed the war in Iraq, big oil and corporate cronyism. Her irreverent writings on these subjects put her on the best selling list.

Molly Ivins was a famous American newspaper journalist and she is also a political analyser.she won alot of awards and she writes humorist materials.she died at her Texas home on 31 januvary 2007 at age 62.
