G. Garvin, or Gerry Garvin, is a chef who hosts the television cooking show, "Turn Up the Heat with G. Garvin" on the TV One network. Garvin uses the catchphrase "super simple" to describe his recipes. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he is one of the only African-Americans to have his own cooking show on TV.
