Your best source for driving directions is to find a real estate agent in the area they know the area pretty well, police officers, fire fighters, ambulance drivers, postal service employees are all good to ask for driving directions. You can use Google maps also.

That really depends on where you are going. You could get a GPS, so you can always know where you're going. If visiting a business, call and they'll direct you.
