Fables, published by DC Comic's Vertigo, was created by Bill Willingham in 2002. In 2008 ABC announced they had picked up the rights to develop a "Fables" pilot for the 2009-2010 television season. This hour long tv series would be directed by David Semel. We have yet to see this show come to fruition.
