What are comic book values?

I have a bunch of comic books in good condition, and I would love to get money for them if they are worth anything.

It depends on the comic book, it's rarity, what condition it is in, and how important the particular issue is, among other things. The best place to look is the annual Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide, which is the most accurate and trusted source. The magazines Comics Buyer's Guide and Wizard are also useful for determining the value of comics.

A good place to is to get a copy of Wizard magazine, since they have the price guides. Also check out Ebay and see what similar comics are selling for.

Comic book value depends on the age, condition, rarity and popularity of the comic. An average condition first copy of spider man's first appearance will go for around $5,000. Generally the older a comic is the more it's worth.

A comic book's value hinges entirely on the amount produced, if the series is popular and the quality. Take your comics to a comic dealer and ask for their assistance.

Comic books printed before 1950 have more value than those printed after. First editions of any comic have the highest value. The more popular the character, such as Superman or Batman, the higher the value.

When collectiong comic books the pricing guide will be extremely higer in price if comic book is kept in mint condition and the year of the book is first year publication. Some first editions are valued anywhere between $700.00-$2000.00. Collectors will pay outragous price if in mint condition and year first edition is what they require.
