Which new game console should I buy?

This really depends on what you want in a console. All of the new consoles are great multimedia centers, and they all have a plethora of games and downloadable content. I personally would pick the Xbox 360 simply because of how user friendly it is.

I would personally recommend buying the PlayStation 3. Not only does it have more titles available to play but it also has a ton more feature than a Wii or Xbox.
