Which is better: Sony or HP?

It depends on the products you are comparing. I will assume laptops, because HP does not make a PS3. Sony laptops tend to be more style oriented, and priced higher. HP's are more broad ranged, and make a laptop for about any use or style. Both are good brands, and should be reliable.

Sony outranks HP in several ways. They have much higher quality products and far better customer service. Even though HP was founded in 1939 while Sony was founded in 1946, Sony has become a bigger name.

The HP products tend to last longer, and are easier to repair when they do break down. They are also less expensive.

A sony printer is far far better than a HP printer. The former has much better quality than that of the latter.
