Where was Mary in Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Supper"?

There are various theories on this subject. According to the bible Mary was at the last supper but was relegated to the position of foot washer. In the movie The DaVinci Code it is proposed that Mary is seated to the left side of Jesus. This figure is supposed to be John, but there is some doubt raised.

No, she is actually rarely mentioned in the Bible and is not associated with the Last Supper where Christ met with his disciples. She appears at the cross, but is hardly discussed during the narrative of Christ's ministry. Leonardo da Vinci's work adorned the wall of a monastic dining hall and the monks would have insisted on doctrinal purity.
