Your gallbladder is located in the same region as your liver. If you have a gallbladder attack, you'd know. It's excruciating

The gallbladder is behind the liver in your right upper quadrant of your abdomen, by your ribs. Gallbladder pain often is intermittent. You can expect to feel it on your right side radiating into your back, like a heart attack but on the wrong side. Pain relievers are typically unhelpful. Consult your doctor to verify the source of your pain.
