Where is the power steering pump on my car?

you have not mentioned which car, anyway all power steering pump are located on or near the right or left side of shock absorbers.

Well all cars can have it in different spots. However it is almost always located off the front of the engine. Typically low down and to one side.

Well if you had told me the model I could tell you where on the engine it is located. Typically it is located on the front of the engine and is driven buy a belt. Some of manufactures mount them high off to the side and other mount the low. Some cars have electric pumps not mount to the engine.

The power steering pump in the car is placed near the wheel. The common pump is fixed in the two wheels and the pump adjusted rod is fixed to the steering. When the steering is rotate then the pump convert the direction of the wheel of the car then car will turn.
