The most active branch of the Ku Klux Klan today is the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, formed by one Thom Robb. It was formed in Harrison, Arkansas.

The KKK is active in many southern and midwestern states in the United States. The most active group is the Brotherhood of Klans which was until 2006 based in Tennessee and is now headquartered in Marion, Ohio. This group has members in 15 states in the country.
