You need to pull the top of the rear license plate down and away from the car, and the gas spout is directly behind the license plate.

The gas tank is located in the back of the car under a plastic cover, it is under the car.

The gas tank itself is located beneath the trunk just forward of the bumper. It's the big fiberglass thing that hangs down. The filler neck is under a door behind and above the rear passenger tire. I'm unfamiliar with the Neon, it might be a simple pull-open door, or there may be a release lever next to the driver's seat.

The gas tank to a 1996 Plymouth Neon is located on the passenger side, rear fender. In most cars in the U.S., there is an indicator of where the gas tank is. It is normally located on the gauges in the dashboard. There will be a picture of a gas pump, and an arrow indicating where it is.

The gas tank is going to be under the car near the back bumper. You should be able to slide under the back of the car and see a metal tank also known as a gas tank. I really hope this helps in assisting you with finding the gas tank on your brothers car.

Check either the drivers side or the passenger side near the raer of the car. The gas tak is located there or behind the rear license plate.

The tank is located on the passenger's side of the 1996 Plymouth Neon, at the rear. See picture on google images.

The gas tank is in the rear of the car underneath the trunk. The gas cap is in the rear of the car also, you will know which side because where your gas gauge is it has a little arrow.
