Where is the cooling fan relay?

Should be mounted under the hood in a "electrical junction box". More than likely the relay is fine but the fan is junk. I would test the fan by removing it and hooking it to 12 volts.

Most commonly fuel relays are inside of the engine compartment. Open your hood and look for a black plastic box along either fender side. It might say fuses or relays or something to that extent on top. You should be able to open it up. On the bottom of the lid should be a diagram for each corresponding relays location.

Depending on the year of your vehicle the cooling fan relay will be located under the hood (all years) either, in a junction block (newer) or on a bracket, bolted on the fender well near other relays (older).

The cooling fan relay is going to be located in the engine in the fuse box. You will need the owners manual to determine which relay is the fan relay.

The cooling fan relay should be located in the fuse box under the hood. If it is not there it will be under the dash.

The cooling fan relay for your Dodge runs from the fan belt to the heat senor outside the engine. Often times, the relay will get loose or fall off, and your engine will overheat.
