Depending upon your area, you might consider several different areas. The first is any paintball specialty shops in the area. If there are none, try a welding shop (they use CO2 for arc welding) or a fire extinguisher company (they use CO2 in their extinguisher tanks). A soft drink distributer is another place or anywhere they fill beer kegs.

Most places that sell paintball equipment can fill the cartridges. Additionally, look for any paintball fields in your area that rent gear, they typically can fill them as well.

Many sporting goods stores fill CO2 tanks. Some hobby stores in your area might,also. Other sources could include welding or industrial gas suppliers. Any local paintball field in your area will also be able to fill tanks,but some might not do so unless you are going to play on their field. (This is to discourage vandalism. )

Check your sporting goods stores, paintball stores, and look for a welding supply shop. These places usually have an abundance of the stuff and will give you a good price.

Most places that sell paintball supplies will offer this service for a small charge. Also, most paintball fields will have a CO2 refill station for a few dollars. You could even buy your own refill kit which is more expensive but may save you money in the long run.
