Where is proplus.msi on Office XP?

If you have a missing. msi file of any type, You will need to locate your missing file or files from your original Microsoft Office CD ROM disc. Once you put the CD in the drive, you can click "locate file" and type in proplus. msi-- the search function should do the rest.

To restore the missing. msi file. Run the detect and repair function form the Office XP Help menu. You will need the original Office XP or a repair disk.

Normally this file is on the office installation cd. But if office xp is searching for it it could be, that the installer database is inconsistent

This particular program is new to Office and would be located int eh Microsoft Word application under the start tab.
