The nation of Haiti is in the Carribean Sea and occupies the Western third of Hispaniola (part of the Greater Antillean archipelago), the island it shares with the Dominican Republic. It sits in the UTC -5 time zone. It is to the west of Puerto Rico and to the east of Cuba.
