Where does the stuff come from that is sold in a Salvation Army thrift store?

Every store has different stuff, so I don't think they order it.

It usually comes from donations and such from people that live in the community. The people who donate it can get a tax write off and they get the items.

Individuals or families donate items such as books, clothing, furniture, kitchenware, and toys to the Salvation Army. Occasionally businesses also donate used items.
