In the state of Virginia there are lots of Childrens hospital of the kings daughters thrift store. Each and every purchase made helps to make another child well. They are conveinently located. The prices are usually fair and can still help the children at the hospital. I shop there every chance I get.

I would recommend other "non chain" stores. I have found that good will and the salvation army are very good for furniture but not clothes. I have had luck at other thrift stores or consignment shops. I would also recommend searching online adds. You can always try sales items too as they can be very cheap
