Where does sciatic nerve pain hit?

I'm not sure if that's my problem.

It starts in the lower back area and radiates down through the buttock and leg as far as the knee. It affects the back of the leg in particular and can also reach beyond the knee and cause tingling and numbness.

The sciatic nerve starts from the base of the spine down to the knee. It is generally under alot of muscle tissue and if you have sciatic nerve pain, it is typically felt in the lower back and/or down your leg.

Sciatic nerve damage can cause pain in the lower back and anywhere along the length of the leg. It is a very long nerve.
