You could try simply searching for your friend's name, but that may not turn up any relevant hits. Apart from that, try social networking sites like Facebook or Myspace. They seem like they're only for teens or 20-somethings, but people of all ages have profiles. Another option is searching on a site like Classmates.

Almost everyone is on Facebook these days, so that is the best place to look. There are also plenty of web-based white pages services, but most charge for this service.

There are several websites you can look to now days to find lost friends. If the friend you are looking for is from your High School you can go Class Reunion websites. They also have several people search websites that will find your friend, possibly for a fee.

My suggestion would be to join Facebook or another social networking site, and search for your friend there. Many people have Facebooks, so it would be a good place to start. Also, sometimes you can find people by searching on Google. Just put the person's name in quotation marks, and do a search.

If you think he will be actively involved in the vast world of internet try the social networking sites like face book.

The most likely place to try would be to search for this person on Facebook. You can also try classmates. com if this is someone that you went to school with.
