The starter on a Kia Sedona can easily be found underneath the exhaust manifold, underneath the vehicle; it is held to here with two 14mm bolts. It is also possible that there is a 'heat shroud' covering the starter, this protects it from the heat of the exhaust manifold and keeps it safe.

I would suggest start by looking in your owners manual. If that does'nt help you can go to an online site such as parts train. They have vehicle diagrams listed on their sites and you should be able to locate your starter. You should be able to follow your battery cables to your starter.
