As the name indicates these wines come from Asti. Asti is a town in northern Italy, east of Turin and located in the region of Piemonte. The area around Asti has a hilly landscape and a warm and humid climate. Hence, it is perfectly suited to produce excellent wines. Asti is most reknowned for red wines and sparkling white wines.
