Most dollar shops (Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, etc.) sell rubber snakes. They're not extremely lifelike, but they're good enough for little boys to play with.

Stores like Toys R Us should have artificial snakes. Plus nature and educational stores should carry them. Plus if you Google it you will find online sources.

Any good toy store should normally have plastic snakes. Wont be hard to find at all. I know that toysRus have them for certain.

You may be able to purchase a artificial snakes at the San Deigo Zoo in the Gifts Shops.You may as well enjoy the trip to the zoo while your there.
