Where can I locate directions for a Butterick pattern?

You could write to the address on the back of your pattern envelope. They may charge you for this but at least you will have the directions. If the pattern is older, you may be farther ahead to just buy a used copy on Ebay. If you know of an expeprienced sewer, engage her help also.

Contact Butterick request replacement. If unavailable, you can look at patterns that are very similar and use those instructions. Many instructions are the same. If this is not possible, there are books that can help you this would also be a good investment for future sewing projects.
