There are many books and magazines available for quilting. Try looking for books on quilting for beginners. Also, when reading magazines look at advertisements for websites that have free quilting patterns.

I find all of my crafts online. I tend to go to google and do a search first. Then I will go to oneprettything. You can google it and find something there.

Sometimes is better to go to the library to get books on such topic also try web sites for help.You can also find out from friends and look up for same work or try your own ideas first before you find out what ways you can.You can aslo check out shops.

There are plenty of websites online which allow you to download patterns for free. You can try most craft sites and craft communities which are forums of people who are like minded all together sharing information. There should be one for knitting and quilting. They should also be free when you find them.
