Before you get your stamps appraised, make a complete inventory of your collection. This will make it easier for the dealer. You can then get your stamps appraised 1) online through a hobbyist website, 2) at a local stamp and hobby shop or 3) at the dealer's tables if a card and stamp show is being held in your town.
