A lawyer within your church can offer services pro bono, for free. This is essentially a charitable act for them.

You may be able to receive free legal advice from a church in your area if that church has funds set aside to pay for free legal advice for those in need. You should contact the clergy at your church to see if this exists.

If you are a member of a church and know a lawyer attending that church that will work pro bono, that is, for free.
