In this case it wouldn't be the greatest idea to go to a pawn shop or an antique dealer. They may not give you an accurate price. It's best to find someone who deals specifically in Comic Books. There prices will be much more accurate and if you were looking to sell them they could help you find buyers.

They often have appraisers who can help set values for collectibles.

You can go to comic book stores that resell comic books. If you have old enough comic books in good condition they can be very valuable. Pawn shops also may make an offer but probably not as good as experienced comic book retailers.

Your local comic book store would be the best place to go. You can also find the comic book value guides at most bookstores. Check in the graphic novels or collectibles sections.
