Where can I find Mormon census records?

Start with the LDS Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. They should have membership records as well as ex-communicated members' records on file there. I am not sure they are available to the public, however. I don know LDS headquarters are located in Salt Lake City, Utah and that is the best place to start your inquiry.

The website from the Latter-Day Saints has a search engine for census records. They also have church offices with computers to obtain the same information for free.
