Press Tel to start the Telephone application. Press Ctrl+P. A window will open up presenting the IMEI code. You can close the window by pressing OK or the Enter key. Type *#06# using the keys on the front of the phone. The serial number (i.e. the IMEI code) of the phone will be displayed on the screen.

You can find codes for unlock codes on many cell phone websites. Also, in many shopping malls there are small cell phone booths where you can pay a small fee ($15-$20) and they will find the code for you and will even enter the code into your phone for you.
