The best place is a garden center. You will also find a great variety of plastic dogs at a large toy store such as Toys R Us or Walmart.

Check your local lawn and garden supply store, they should carry plastic dogs. The best time to find them would possibly be in the spring.

You can purchase plastic or resin type dogs for outdoor use at K Mart or Wal Mart. Lowes also has some of these. There may be local nurseries that have them for yard decor. This time of year you may find them in clearance sections because the season is ending.

I once pulled a prank that require me to place 100 dogs in a friends yard. So I searched for plastic dogs like the flamingos you can get, and the best place i found was oriental trading post. Thay had pink poodles that worked and eventually the prank became a fund raiser.

The HomeGoods store, or Mega Marshalls. They have great items at great prices. I do suggest spraying with a laquer finish, as the sun tends to fade them over time.
