Purchase at any pet store a ph kit. If cat won't pee he might smell another cat may dislike the litter's odor or think's it's to dirty after it poop's.

A cat may have a bladder infection if it is constantly urinating, if visible crystals appear in the urine, or if blood can be seen in the urine. Cats, like people can hold their baldders up to 12 hours so it may be avoiding the litter and going elsewhere.

You can buy ph tester at pet stores that is available at your area. You would have to find the cat's pee around your house to test it. However, it would be best if your cat is able to pee in litter box. This will make your job much easier.

All methods used in veterinary practice to test urine samples of animals are not available for you to buy over the counter for pets. If the cat is not peeing at all he will likely need a catheter to obtain a sample, anyway. The cat needs a vet asap.

I would suggest asking a vet about the urinary tract infection. You could also probably buy one at a Petco, Petsmart, or other comparable store. But, if your kitten is only nine weeks old, the reason he may not be peeing in the litter box is that the litter is either not fresh or to large of granules.

I usually buy my ph tester at a vets office and they'll tell you how to use one. If he doesn't go pee in the litter box it could be that your litter box is to small if you have more than one cat.

I would try your local vet clinic first. If you are not able to get one from them then you might try looking on the internet for one.

Not much luck on this, I suggest asking your pet store- however if he has UTI, it is very painful and he needs a vet, not a test. If he is not displaying distress, I'm betting he is sneaking a pee somewhere you will discover to your dismay. Been there.

Most pet supply stores will sell a special litter than you put in their box, but if he not using the box you might want to lay some down where you have noticed he is going. There will also be a very strong smell

pH is not the only factor in verifying a UTI. Acomplete urinalysis should be run by a vet. pH can be noraml with an infection.  add a comment
