Rabbits can breed from the age of about three months. They can then produce a litter up to every 30 days. You should never keep a male and female rabbit together. When the female rabbit gives birth she is then able to breed immediately once more. This is very stressful on the female and should never be practiced.

As soon as the babies leave the nest, the male reproduce with the mother again. You have to keep him alone, or the female will die exhausted.
