There is a wide range of dates of when scholars think the book of Job was written. There is no exact date that can be proven. Most scholars think it was written somewhere between the time of Solomon and Israel's exile to Babylon. ( 2000 - 1000 bc )
Interesting: Solomon came after David, and David was around 1000BC. The exile has been precisely dated to 598/7 BC and ended in 538 BC: so, where did the 2000 - 1000 BC come from ? add a comment
