Is there a book from the "Independence Day" movie?

The sci-fi novel "Independence Day", written by Dean Devlin, Roland Emmerich, and Stephen Molsted, was released after the film. Devlin and Emmerich were the co-writers of the film script as well. Rachel Aberly and Volker Engel also have a book about the film "The Making of Independence Day."

While the idea of aliens coming to earth and endangering it's citizens has been written about, there is no book behind the movie.
