When did the swimsuit industry move away from making one-piece swimwear?

Well, now a days it doesn't matter how fat or skinny you are, the trend is to be hip and look young to attract as many people as possible and also to make yourself feel better. I agree that bikinis should only be worn by the slim, but what can you do.

Well they make quite flattering two pieces for any body shape, some have more coverage. I have always found a large selection of one pieces at large department stores.
