Shih poo puppies as with most puppies should not be take from their mother until they are weened. Once a puppy is eating solid food by themselves them they can be safety separated from their mothers.

You should never ever take them from the mama til they are at least 8 weeks old they will not make it alot of times if they are taken away any sooner and it is a law in New York state they can't be gotten rid of till 8 weeks

These puppies and all breeds of puppies shouldn.t leave their mother until they are eight weeks old. The dogs before this age are pretty young to try to get them to eat what they need to thrive.

I've seen puppies leave their mothers as early at 6 weeks. Although, to ensure they are socialized and weened from their mother properly you should wait until the puppies are 12 to 14 weeks of age. This way you can administer their first round of shots as well as observe their temperments.
