Ohms are the units used to measure electrical resistance. A 4-ohm speaker has a higher resistance than one with 4 ohms, and this needs to be considered during instalation.

i assume you ment speaker. ohms in speakers is resistance to output from you're amp. lower ohm's amp runs hotter. two ohm will sound louder. four ohm's amp will last longer

ohm is a measure of impedance or the amount of electrical resistance the speaker has. A speaker rated at 2 ohms has half the resistance of one that is rated at 4 ohms. All other things equal, less resistance means it takes less power to move the same amount of sound waves.

Ohms are basically the resistance the speaker has to the current that passes through it. A speaker with 2 ohms has less resistance than one with 4 ohms.
