What does "3 day pay or quit" mean?

Where I worked it meant be happy working three days a week or quit. In most states if you work just three days a week you can't get unemployment benefits. For my job the time reduction was only temporary so maybe this will be the same with you. You can get through it.

It has nothing to do with employment, it refers to tenancy. You have three days to pay the rent due or leave the rental. Quit means take leave of.

A "3 Day Pay or Quit" notifies the a person who is renting property that they must either pay the amount the are due to the owner within 3 days or vacate the property.
