If your dad likes computer there is all sorts of gadgets you can buy for him such as a mousepad, new mouse etc. Depending on what he enjoys there is a gadget for everything. If he likes DVD's, a nice holder would be good. That's one beauty of a gadget: many things can be bought cheap but are useful.

A wind-up flashlight is a good gift. Everyone needs a flashlight, and the wind-up kind don't need batteries. There are some that are a combination flashlight and radio.
