I would consider Terms of Endearment, Toy Story Series, Forrest Gump and It's A Wonderful Life as must-have DVDS. It would be a great mix of drama and comedy.
For me a must-have DVD is one that I believe will be impossible to find in 5 years time. I have rarely ever found a movie that is worth the 10-15 dollars to buy.
