This is called Rust. It thrives in hot and humid conditions and would cause the appearance of dusty orange patches on the blades of your grass. Rust developes due to low amounts of nitrogen in a lawn and can be treated with a fungicide. Excess rain or irrigation can cause Rust.

Pythium is a fungus and it would make your grass seem like there is a big greasy spot in it. It can also affect surrounding roots and cause what is often called "root rot".

The orange you would be seeing is a common lawn decease called, Rust. More so on the Marion and Touchdown types of bluegrass. When you mow the lawn the little spores are thrown out into the air and then land back on the grass. The grass gets wet with dew and pools the spores into visible spots on the grass.

This is rust grass, you should cut the grass as short as possible, rake, water and fertilize the grass well.

You grass has lacked fertilization and has become water stressed, causing 'rust grass'. This usually happens in late summer, or during a very humid early summer. To help the repair process along trim the orange grass (as short as possible) with a weed wacker. Then rake the area, water your lawn daily, and spray a hearty fertilizer.

you can dust it with orange sand or don't water it. you can also put lots of metal rusts on it, rust fungus is what makes grass look orange or if you can get some rust fungus from other infected garden, put some on your lawn and that will give your garden that dusty orange look.

You probably have either gotten something that has run down through your soil and has changed the PH so that it isn't feeding the grass like it should or there is some kind of grub or parasite that is in the grass before you use chemicals check with your local greenhouse.
