What would give you a dry mouth at night?

I keep having to get up and drink water.

Sleeping in a room that's too dry or sleeping with your mouth open with dry out your mouth. Maybe the room temperature can be lowered a little.

Common occurrences are snoring, tobacco use and the intake of too much caffeine. Many prescriptions and also over the counter medications can cause sry mouth. Some diseases, like diabetes and parkinson's can affect the sliva glands and cause dry mouth. Changes in the body like menopause can also create the problem.
