In 2006 the ncaa basketball champion was the florida gators for the men, and maryland beat duke in the overtime win. now going over to the ncaa football team that dominated was none other than the outstanding florida gators also won.

Florida won both the NCAA Men's basketball and football championships this year. Oregon State won baseball. UC Santa Barbara won men's soccer, North Carolina won women's soccer. Wisconsin won hockey.
