What was the Judaic ritual for baptizing?

I would like to understand what the ritual was for baptizing.

Baptism isn't part of the Jewish faith, there's no need for it. The Jewish faith doesn't recognize Original Sin, that mankind is born damned. John baptized as a symbol that the way must be swept clean for the one who would follow him- it was a symbolic, "political" gesture.

For male children it's circumcision, for male adult converts it's circumcision and immersion in the ritual bath, for female adult converts it's immersion in the ritual bath.

The only Judais ritual for baptizing is one of confirmation to the jewish faith. If a gentile wants to convert to judism, their must go through a series of teachings and be baptized into judism. The actual action is very similar to christian baptism. It involves immersion into water with the rabbi declaring words over you
