The flapper look was very popular in the 1920s. It involved a loose-fitting dress with fringe at the bottom and usually a very short haircut that may or may not have been lightly curled at the end.

The 1920s were the flapper kingdom clothes-wise. The actual flapper dress went to about knee length, and was straight cut. No curves in sight. Fringe on dresses was also popular. As far as arms are concerned, generally sleeves covered shoulders, but not the arms. Hats were also popular, think like a turban.

The 1920's were the era of the Flapper style. Dresses were loose fitting and flowing. Styles that minimized hips and bosoms were the rage. The famous designer,Coco Chanel popularized the little black dress. A black Flapper style dress complemented by T-Strap shoes sounds like the perfect outfit for the 1920's. Add a bob haircut to complete the look.

The trademark, shocking ladies' clothing of the 1920s were those worn by the "flappers". Their clothing was more daring and revealing than what was considered proper for a lady at the time. Flapper clothing featured short skirts, plunging necklines, fringe, feathers, large or gaudy jewelry, headbands and loud hats.
