The 1920's for women were the flapper dresses, cloche hats as well, t bar shoes. Flapper dresses were, at the time, much brighter and shorter than previous dresses. Cloche hats were very tight fitting, often small, and requiring a very short haircut. Shoes became more important, as well as underclothing, accessories, and stockings, with brighter matching colors.

The most notable clothing change was the shortening of the skirt. Sleeveless dresses and nude stockings also became popular. A boyish silhouette was preferable.

1920's clothing styles focused on the long, lean figure with shorter, sleeveless dresses that swung free from the body. Added to these were cloche hats and long strings of beads.

During the Roaring 20s, it was the rise of the flappers. these women wore bright, sparkly clothing that was significantly shorter and more revealing than before. They used feathers as well. This clothing represented a break from the conservative role women had played before this as they broke into a wild place in society.

Women's style in the 1920's was mainly flapper. It was the first time they could dress sexy. The dresses were shorter and often covered in sequins.
