The fuel check valve is located on the top of the fuel tank for many cars. You must have auto repair knowledge to do this. Some import vehicles have access panels under the rear seat to aid in the removal of fuel pump and also gain access to related emissions devices.

As far as i think on the moment of changing or replacing the fuel check valve u have to take care that is the mechanic placing the right object on the right place.
